Argala Editor-in-Chief received Data Ram National Literary Award, 2009 for his contribution to Hindi literature. This award is given in memory of Data Ram Gautam, a Kargil Martyr who became a martyr during the Kargil War in 1999. Data Ram Gautam was born to Pandit Brahm Datt Gautam and Narayani Devi on 20th May 1977 in Dharaun. He was selected in Indian Army on 20th October, 1994. Argalaa second issue was inagurated by Prof. Kiran Walia, Health Minister of Delhi government during the celebration of International Women's Day. The second issue of Argalaa was dedicated to women, therefore, all articles were contributed by women or in some exceptional cases if not women, they were about women in Hindi literature. The celebration was organized by Argalaa in collabaration with Indian Sports and Culture Society to mark the importance of women in Hindi literature and sports. [और पढ़ें]
