He feels bad when people feel proud in speaking English at malls, banks and restaurants in India. Many of us don't know that India doesn't have any national language. Even after declaring Hindi as the official language of the Union in Article 343 of the Constitution, most of the educated people communicate in English whereas it is stated in the constitution that "It shall be the duty of the Union to promote the spread of the Hindi language". My involvement in Argalaa is to promote Hindi language for common man and to spread awareness among the people of India so that Hindi should get a place it deserves. As it is a collective responsibility of all Indian citizens to move forward and make a concrete effort to popularize Hindi not only in India but at a global level too. She is not the first one to initiate this but she does not want to be the last one.
